Children of the After Life, a Novel

The flu pandemic has been spreading for ten years, killing off everyone but the young.  The government has taken the healthy to live in small enclaves while the cities are run by armed gangs trafficking in anti-viral medications.  Sara barely remembers what life was like before.  She spends her energy trying to navigate protecting her younger sister and surviving.  She’s one of the few people who have never gotten ill and the government wants to find out why.
